We have decided to do something special for players who go above and beyond their normal routines here in Kenaz. So here is the deal... Staff members have special staff reward tokens that they can bestow upon any player on the shard they see doing something to help others. This means anytime a staff member is on and witnesses a player helping another, or even assisting staff in testing or some other request, that staff member may choose to give that player a special token. These special tokens are for us only at one vendor located at the Magencia Mall named Akello. Akello has various items of rarity ranging from decor tools, to craft tools, to special jewelry and clothing items. More will continue to be added to Akello as we add more specialty items. Akello ONLY accepts the staff reward tokens as payment for his goods.
Remember, to receive a reward token, a member of staff MUST witness you doing a act beneficial to the shard. You cannot just tell a staff member of something you did, but this is no reason not to do good acts when no staff is on, because I lurk as do other staff members and you may not always realize when we are watching. Plus, I have logs of the going ons in the realm, and I do go over them often, so if I see something in them that I feel deserves a reward token, I will give them out based on things found within the logs. Reward tokens are a special way for staff to thank those players going above and beyond to help the shard as a whole. This includes helping new players in the lands get started, helping a member of staff when they need a hand, offering up suggestions and ideas that the staff feel would be beneficial to the shard and decide to add, making your own player events for your fellow players to partake and enjoy, ect. Basically anything that adds to the fun and good name of Kenaz, anything that helps the fellow players and staff and shard as a whole.
Another way to gain a reward token is to bring a new player to the shard. If you bring players to Kenaz, and they make it their home and play consistantly for at least two weeks, and they tell staff that you brought them here, then you will receive a reward token. We felt this would be a great way to encourage players to help their fellow players and also to increase the shard playerbase. Also to thank those players who do go above and beyond daily just to help others and the shard. Remember, Do NOT ask staff for a token, this is a sure way NOT to get one. Staff will give it at their own discretion. Not every good deed will receive a reward, it is up to the staff member that witnesses the act to decide whether or not to give out a token. And also just because staff is not on, does not mean that you should not be helpful and considerate to other players.
